Die Kernidee liegt in der zeitgemäßen Auslegung des allseits bekannten Fliesentischs aus den 90ern. Im Gegensatz zum Vorbild wird in der Neuversion komplett auf massives Holz verzichtet und auf filigranen Stahl zurückgegriffen. Feinere Mosaikfliesen ersetzen die alten opaken Großformate. Sie sind nun aus transparentem Glas und lassen, je nach Einfallwinkel, Licht bis zur Trägerplatte hindurchscheinen. Die Oberfläche bekommt somit räumliche Tiefe und Leichtigkeit. Der Trägerrahmen ist aus poliertem Edelstahl und die Beine sind verchromt, was dem Erscheinungsbild nochmals visuelles Gewicht abnimmt.
Abhängig von der Einsatzhöhe und Nutzung sind unterschiedliche Ausführungsvarianten und Sets möglich, z.B. als Schreibtisch, Couchtisch oder Sitzbank.

The core idea lies in the contemporary interpretation of the well-known tiled table from the 90s. In contrast to the original, solid wood is completely dispensed within the new version and filigree steel is used instead. Finer mosaic tiles replace the old opaque large formats. They are now made of transparent glass and, depending on the angle of incidence, allow light to shine through to the carrier plate. The surface thus acquires spacial depth and lightness. The support frame is made of polished stainless steel and the legs are chrome-plated, which further reduce the visual weight of the appearance.
Depending on the height and usage requirements, different design variants and sets are possible, e.g. as a desk, coffee table or bench.
