Bei dieser Berliner Bestandswohnung stand der Einsatz weniger präziser Maßnahmen im Vordergrund. Vorgefundenes Material, was noch als gut eingestuft wurde, sollte erhalten werden, und gleichzeitig ein zeitgemäßer Wohnstandard Einzug halten. Demzufolge wurden sämtliche Raumübergänge mit neuen Edelstahl- und Aluprofilen versehen, Wände mit Gipsputz überarbeitet und gestrichen, sowie die Küche und das Bad größtenteils neu ausgestattet. Frische Deckenleuchten, Edelstahlbeschläge und Holzböden aus Bambus sorgen zusammen für eine wohnliche Atmosphäre.     

Apartment modernization, Berlin

In this existing Berlin apartment, the focus was on the use of less precise measures. Existing material that was still classified as good and usable should be preserved, and at the same time a contemporary living standard should be introduced. As a result, all room transitions were fitted with new stainless steel and aluminum profiles, walls were reworked with gypsum plaster and repainted, and the kitchen and bathroom were largely refitted. Fresh ceiling lights, stainless steel fittings and bamboo wooden floors are combined to create a homely atmosphere.
